Welcome to the Geeves Brewery website. We are an independent, family-run micro brewery based in Barnsley. Our philosophy of real ale is simple; we love drinking it, and we love brewing it and we hope you enjoy it too!
We first started brewing at home, which at the time was a narrow boat. The nature of our home being as unusual as it was, meant that we had to employ some rather interesting and, if we do say so ourselves, ingenious brewing methods, but all was worth the toil in the end as we shaped and defined the recipes we use now. Although we no longer brew on the boat, it was the birth of our brewing experience and the reason for where we are today. We raise a pint to the wonderful world of the canals with the narrow boating theme that runs through our ales.
